Festivals or fiestas are almost celebrated every month here in the Philippines, these fiestas show off the culture of one's town or hometown or even their respective patron saints. It has become the Filipinos culture to celebrate festivals.

The Vigan City Fiesta is celebrated yearly, at the 25th of the month January. Vigan's Fiesta commemorates it's patron saint which is why it is celebrated on the feast day of St. Paul the Apostle, Vigan City's Patron Saint. The Fiesta is also an act of preserving one's culture and tradition.

Some adjustments were done this year due to the outbreak of covid-19 that happened about a year ago, lesser contact with people were made and health protocols was done to avoid the virus from spreading considering it is the whole towns fiesta and a lot of people are accommodated with this festival.
