  Every Lover always await this time of the year the day of love, Valentine's Day. February 14, this day when couples spend time together, and people show their love and affection with one another. Valentine's is when we show our love to other people not just by pair, coupe or a special person, but our loved ones as well, families and friends. It is not a holiday just for couples, but for all of us and loved ones. normally people would give or receive gifts, chocolates, letters, flowers, and spend time together but for this year it's different due to the outbreak of covid-19 globally and the mass cases of covid-19 within the country.  Problems and obstacles were placed as protocols prohibit direct physical contact with people which intimate interactions with other people were avoided. but this can't stop us from showing our love for people through messages, virtually, and watch movies together or call one another.  Many obstacles were faced but spending valentine's

A Culmination of Iloco Kulture: Kannawidan Festival

 Kannawidan Festival is full of kultures from different towns and cities within Ilocos Sur, it is a culmination of all the cultures and tradition of Ilocanos. Kannawidan is celebrated yearly in Vigan as it contains many historic sceneries from different places, it is celebrated during the end of January. Many local food and products from different towns can be find during the Kannawidan festival, there are also competetions, pageants, concert and many more. The rich culture, rare food cuisine of Ilocos is being featured which attracts many tourists to come and celebrate and experience the festival among Ilocanos. As for the ongoing pandemic, children below the age of 16 were advised not to go celebrate Kannawidan in the usual place where it takes place which is the Vigan City, Tamag Grounds. Vigan City Fiesta: Celebrated During Pandemic

Festivals or fiestas are almost celebrated every month here in the Philippines, these fiestas show off the culture of one's town or hometown or even their respective patron saints. It has become the Filipinos culture to celebrate festivals. The Vigan City Fiesta is celebrated yearly, at the 25th of the month January. Vigan's Fiesta commemorates it's patron saint which is why it is celebrated on the feast day of St. Paul the Apostle, Vigan City's Patron Saint. The Fiesta is also an act of preserving one's culture and tradition. Some adjustments were done this year due to the outbreak of covid-19 that happened about a year ago, lesser contact with people were made and health protocols was done to avoid the virus from spreading considering it is the whole towns fiesta and a lot of people are accommodated with this festival.
